Lost in space...

I smell reeks of isolation in myself... It seems that I have detached myself from this world. I feel hollow on the inside. The face is just a shell to mask the emptiness. The winds of change has been coming, just that I realized it too late... It has now erupted into a hurricane, leaving behind a trail of destructions... But at least I got to see the summer's bloom. Will I see it again?

Dedicated to Steve Irwin - ' The Crocodile Hunter'

I was just talking about the unpredictable nature of life when I received news that the 'Crocodile Hunter' has passed away. He was filming his documentary at the Great Barrier Reef when his chest got pierced by a stingray barb. I guess he did not expect his life to end this way.
Here is a man who shows so much passion in his work of showing Crocodiles to the world in a different light. He loves his job so much and thoroughly enjoys his affinity towards Mother Nature. It can be seen easily from his documents that he is enjoying every moment of it.
Here is a man who has little or few regrets in his life. This is because he pursued what he loves most- working with crocodiles. I feel for his wife and little baby. I am sure no one can ever replace him in their hearts.
On a more positive note, this reminds us to just do whatever you set your hearts on and have no regrets, no matter what comes along or against your way...

Platonic Relationships?

Is it possible for guys to be good friends with girls? Well of course, it is possible, just that it is not as common as compared to friends of the same sex. But why is that so? After all, we are all humans.
Man are Mars, women are from Venus. Man and women think differently. That is what makes us so different, apart from the physical anatomy side. Can only gays be good friends with women? Difference in mentality definitely play a big part here.
In the past, men are thought to be strong-minded and tough physically and mentally. They show little or no emotions in order to display the aura that they are stronger.
However, in recent times, there is an emergence of a new breed of men- sensitive new-age men. This new breed of men still sought to be strong but they show more attentiveness in everything they do. They are more thoughtful in their actions. As a result, they might be able to communicate better with the ladies.
But, ladies, whose thought processes are still forever the no. 1 mystery in the world... but definitely, it is great to have many of such relationships.

Procrastinating...

Life is full of procrastinations. That is why many of us live our lifes peppered with regrets. More often than not, we tend to wait and see...without doing anything. Although it is always right to think before one acts, it is the action which speak the loudest. Just waiting for it to happen is pointless, as miracles do not simply drop from the sky.

I believe in living for the moment. We do not know what could happen to us the very next minute. Life is unpredictable. If we spend most of our time procrastinating, nothing much can be done. Life is precious. I believe that every life being made is a miracle. A child which is being born healthy is an added bonus. I really feel for those children who are being born with defects. Life is unfair. If life was fair, all the babies will be born healthy. However, I believe that everything happens for a reason. One cannot choose the situation in which one is being born into, but one has the ability to change his destiny.

Living in regrets is undesirable, yet many of us still experience it at some points in our lives...
