Our very existance in life...

I have always wondered about this topic since I was young. Why do we live in this world? There are many definitions to life. One of them are birth, ageing, sick and death. I suppose this is the inevitable process of life. So why do we keep going through this motion? Is there any way that we can get out of this cycle? If so, where will we go?
Nevertheless, we are living in this world, with the prime purpose of survival and continuation of the human race. When one is born into this world, we fulfill our basic needs like hunger and thirst. As we age, our minds develop into something so sophisticated no other species in our world can match. We thrive to be the best in the education system of our different societies. In today's world, being educated is the ultimate tool to success, that is what the majority of the people thought so.

After being 'highly educated', especially during the early 20s, there is a need to find companionship. And that is when love comes in. Even though the individual might face many problems throughout his or her love life, the individual still continues to be in pursuit for love.

And then, the norm is to get married and have babies. Raising children is no mean feat. Parents will then slog for many years to come to provide the best for their children. They will eventually grow old..and the inevitable will arrive- death.

Having said that, what is the purpose in our life? How do we know that everything we see is real? It is our eyes that tell us what we see. Along with our 4 other senses, we make sense of this world.

I recalled yesterday... I was at a toy shop.. And I saw a T-Rex figurine whose mouth could be closed or opened with the force of our fingers. I started to ponder... These are ancient creatures which once lived on our very lands on which we are stepping on at this very moment. And yet, now, we humans, who have taken over, or evolved into, have actually made toys out of these ancient beings. I wonder if in the next million years or so, will we end up like this T-Rex, to be placed on shelves of a toy shop...
